Honest OFW returns P80,000 worth of yen found at NAIA

An overseas Filipino worker returned to airport authorities an envelope she found at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) containing around P80,000 worth of yen.  

 

 

According to a "24 Oras" report Tuesday on GMA-7, Myra dela Cruz found an envelope containing 200,000 yen or an estimated P80,000 under a chair at the NAIA Terminal 1.

 

She immediately gave the envelope back to NAIA authorities upon discovering the envelope, which the report said also contained a marriage certificated.

 

Dela Cruz was on her way back to Saudi Arabia, where she works as a physical therapist at a hospital in Riyadh. - Gian C. Geronimo, VVP, GMA News
