No Pinoys hurt in Canada mass stabbings —DFA
No Filipinos were hurt in the series of stabbing incidents in Saskatchewan, Canada, that left 10 people dead and over a dozen injured, Unang Balita reported on Tuesday, citing the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).
The DFA said this was confirmed by Philippine Consul General Zaldy Patron.

Two male suspects — identified as Damien Sanderson, 31, and Myles Sanderson, 30 — were still at large as police tried to determine a motive for Sunday's attacks.
The incidents took place in the James Smith Cree Nation and village of Weldon in the province of Saskatchewan, police said.
James Smith Cree Nation is an indigenous community with a population of about 3,400 people largely engaged in farming, hunting and fishing. Weldon is a village of some 200 people. —with Reuters/KBK, GMA News
