DFA seeks relatives of OFW found suffering from amnesia in China

The Department of Foreign Affairs is searching for the relatives of Richard Soriano, an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) who is suffering from amnesia and was found in a hospital in China.

According to a report on GMA's "24 Oras," Soriano—who was brought home to the Philippines on Friday—had been left in the Chinese hospital.

The DFA, which did not elaborate on Soriano's condition or the possible reasons for his amnesia, is now urging the public to connect them to Soriano's family.

The Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant Workers' Affairs (OUMWA) may be contacted through phone at (02)834-4996 or at (02)834-3246, or via email at oumwa.database@gmail.com or oumwa@dfa.gov.ph.

Individuals may also proceed to the OUMWA office at 2330 Roxas Boulevard in Pasay City. — Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas/BM, GMA News
