Germany needs 50 nurses, 300 care workers —POEA


To those who want to work abroad, Germany is in need of 50 nurses and 300 care workers, the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration announced Thursday.

Citing a POEA advisory, Unang Balita reported that qualified candidates may check out the employment opportunity with the agency's official website.

Prospective applicants should have the following qualifications:

  • must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing with active PRC License
  • must have a minimum of two years related professional experience
  • must have German Language Proficiency or willing to undergo German Languge Training to attain Level B1

Monthly salary is at 2,000 euros (or over P100,000).

Japan

Earlier, the POEA announced that Japan is also in need of 50 nurses and 300 care workers.

The deadline for applications at POEA regional offices was last Friday, May 10, 2019; and for those applying at the central office in Mandaluyong City, the deadline will be this coming Friday, May 17, 2019.

Qualifications for nurses:

  • a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing with active PRC license
  • a minimum of three (3) years hospital work experience
  • must be motivated and committed to work and study as candidate for "Kangoshi" to obtain a National License in Japan.

Qualifications for care workers:

  • a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (with or without PRC license)
  • a graduate of  four-year course but should submit TESDA National Certificate II in Care-giving (NC II)
