303 distressed OFWs from Kuwait who availed of amnesty arrive in Manila
A total of 303 distressed overseas Filipino workers from Kuwait arrived in Manila before midnight on Saturday, the Department of Foreign Affairs said.
The OFWs availed of the amnesty extended to them by the Kuwaiti government so they could be with their families amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the Philippine Embassy in Kuwait, the Kuwaiti government is offering amnesty to residence visa violators starting April 1.
The amnesty can only be availed of until April 5.
The Embassy encouraged undocumented Filipinos in Kuwait and those with absconding cases to apply for amnesty while there is still time.
It also said an additional flight from Kuwait to Manila has been scheduled on April 5 to accommodate Filipinos who will apply for amnesty on Sunday. —KG, GMA News
