Over 500 Pinoys repatriated from Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia back in Manila amid COVID-19 pandemic — DFA

A total of 515 Filipinos from Nigeria, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia returned home on Tuesday through the Department of Foreign Affairs’ repatriation program amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

In a statement, the DFA said the Filipinos were immediately subjected to rapid testing for COVID-19 upon their arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

The Filipinos were also briefed on the quarantine protocols before they were transported to their designated facilities where they will undergo a mandatory 14-day quarantine.

Some overseas Filipinos, meanwhile, were required to follow home quarantine procedures.
