The fifth batch of remains of overseas Filipino workers who died in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) will be flown back to the Philippines this weekend, the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration said Friday.

In July and August, the government facilitated the repatriation of deceased OFWs, who have died of COVID-19 or other causes.

Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III earlier promised that the government “will continue to fly home all our dead, and if need be, not only from the Middle East but also from all over the world.” —LBG, GMA News
