Three more Pinoys abroad recover from COVID-19

The number of overseas Filipinos who have recovered from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) rose to 8,820 on Sunday after the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) announced three new recoveries. 

The tally of infections remained at 13,779.

The death toll also held steady at 945.

Over 4,000 patients are still undergoing treatment.

“The DFA remains fully committed to monitoring the situation of overseas Filipinos who are affected by the pandemic and remains steadfast in promoting and protecting their welfare,” the department said on Twitter. — Julia Mari Ornedo/BM, GMA News
