Israel still hiring caregivers with P75,000 salary offer


The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) reminded holders of Level II Caregiving National Certificates that Israel was still accepting applications for caregiving jobs.

According to Mao dela Cruz's report on Super Radyo dzBB on Sunday, the job offers more or less a P75,000 monthly salary.

In November last year, the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) said that Israel needed to hire 500 Filipino caregivers.

The employment will be a government to government transaction with no placement fees required.

Applicants should be 23 years of age or older, with a height no shorter than 4 feet 11 inches, and should weigh at least 45 kilos.

The applicant should also be at least be a high school graduate who passed TESDA's caregiving course.

Fluency in the English language is essential.

According to the POEA, the job contract is for five years.

At least 90% of applicants who will be hired would be women.

Hired applicants will shoulder their airfare and fees for documents.
