US Embassy in the Philippines suspends visa interviews until Sept. 30

The US Embassy in the Philippines has temporarily cancelled non-immigrant visa interviews until Sept. 30 due to the surge in COVID-19 cases, according to a report on Unang Hirit on Wednesday morning.

Appointments for non-immigrant visa interviews were cancelled for B1 or B2 category or business and tourist visas until Sept. 30.

The US Embassy said the action was imposed due the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
