Cave life and Corregidor adventures

Episode on May 28, 2008 Wednesday after Saksi This Wednesday, guests drop in on Born to be Wild! It's time for fascinating animals and a first-time adventurer to make a special appearance. Inside Samar's cave systems, Doc Ferds comes face to face with unique creatures. Even in the deepest recesses of the cave, animals adapt and survive in pure darkness. Doc Ferds meets spiders the size of human hands, white crabs with no eyes and crickets that walk on water. Each cave supports a unique set of species. And in the newly explored Jiabong Cave, Born to be Wild becomes one of the first teams to encounter and document these cave life forms. Reporter Mark Salazar fills in for our resident mountaineer, Romi Garduce, who is on another expedition. Far from the political scene, Mark explores the great outdoors of Corregidor. He searches for wild monkeys on an isolated island, and comes face to face with different wildlife, including bats, horses, and a native gecko. Going wild continues as he camps out in the wilderness. Will Mark survive this new adventure?
