Super Blood Moon lights up the night sky
The Super Blood Moon lit up the night sky in red on Wednesday.
Captured by Raymund Sarmiento, the moon was seen shining with a reddish-orange color during its maximum eclipse at 7:18 p.m. in Antipolo City.
In a Twitter video shared by journalist Raffy Tima, it was also seen rising over Metro Manila.

Its color, meanwhile, is caused by the “sunlight refracting through the Earth’s atmosphere.”
