Davao college deploys e-business suite
Holy Cross of Davao College (HCDC) announced that it has picked the Oracle E-Business Suite to take advantage of an integrated suite of business applications.
The six-month implementation will include Oracle E-Business Suite Financials, Oracle Purchasing, and Oracle Inventory Management.
The integrated solution will provide the college with an administrative system that would standardize and streamline financial processes, including accounting, budgeting, procurement and inventory management for enhanced decision-making.
In using the Oracle E-Business Suite, the college can expect to generate financial reports anytime of the day and give updated cash positions when needed. It would also help consolidate data onto a single storehouse.
Oracle Purchasing will help the College define suppliers and agreements then simplify the process by automating entire purchasing cycles from purchase order to settlement.
With Oracle Inventory Management, the educational institution will be provided with real- time inventory and would also increase efficiency by streamlining inventory management processes such as replenishment, order fulfillment, manufacturing, inventory counting, and service through tailored user interfaces, business processes, active alerts and intelligent messaging.
The project will be deployed by iOM Philippines, a Gold level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN).
“With the rapid growth in enrolment in the Holy Cross of Davao College, we decided to invest in Oracle software,” said Rev. Msgr. Julius Rodulfa, president of Holy Cross of Davao College. “With Oracle E-Business Suite, we expect to have an efficient and flexible system to support our growing and changing needs.” — Newsbytes.ph
