Updated MMDA app for new iPad's hi-res retina out
Motorists navigating Metro Manila's streets using Apple's new iPad with the high-resolution Retina display may benefit from an updated navigation app of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority. The MMDA's app for the iOS platform, version 2.2, was made available on Apple's App Store early Thursday (Manila time). "MMDA for iOS v2.2 is out. (It) adds retina iPad support, Line View Incidents, and analytics," MMDA traffic discipline unit head Yves Gonzalez, himself an iOS developer, said on his Twitter account. Gonzalez said he waited eight days for Apple to review the updated app. A description of the upgraded app on the App Store said version 2.2 now includes an "Incidents" feature, "to show you what's causing the traffic in your route!" The app's list of new features also includes: All navigator views now have Incidents feature
