After this hack, would a version for "Gangnam Style" be far behind?
A programmer managed to control the tempo of Carla Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" with a hack that wirelessly connected a heart rate monitor, a GPS watch and a USB webcam.
The heart rate monitor and webcam will send the readings via a custom program that will determine the tempo, tech site Mashable reported.
Programmer Ryan Challinor posted a YouTube video showing him doing jumping jacks and controlling the song's tempo, Mashable noted:
Earlier this year, "Call Me Maybe" had gained popularity on YouTube but was outdone by PSY's "Gangnam Style" in terms of the number of views. — TJD, GMA News
