Porn coming to Google Glass

Not even Google Glass is immune from porn, as an adult app is now in the works for the relatively new platform, a tech site reported.

 

ZDNet reported that MiKandi, an adult Android app developer and distributor, may launch an adult app and offer it as early as within this week.

 

"Google Glass Porn has been making its rounds, and while studios are intrigued, no one seems to be doing anything about it. So I wanted to let you know that we picked up our Glass and, yup, we're making content for it," ZDNet's Violet Blue quoted MiKandi Co-founder Jennifer McEwen as saying.

 

McEwen added MiKandi is "one of the few, if not the only, adult companies with the device right now."

 

ZDNet said MiKandi became a top adult app provider for Android after Apple dumped some 5,000 of its apps that were considered naughty.

 

'Aiming to innovate'

 

ZDNet's Blue quoted McEwen as saying MiKandi is aiming to innovate by experimenting with the features of Google Glass, such as powerful photo and video recording.

 

"Obviously, Glass is perfect for shooting POV video, so we’re experimenting with that first. But what’s really interesting about Glass is that it’s not just a hands free camera. It can receive and send data, so there are a lot of interesting interactions that we want to explore," McEwen said.

 

She added Glass' hands-free nature can make a shooter feel like "you’re recording with your own eyes."

 

"On top of that, with Glass you can share and interact with fans and followers, allowing them intimate access to your experiences. It’s like being John Malkovich where you’re viewing the world through someone else’s eyes," she said. — TJD, GMA News
