PHL-themed LEGO exhibit to mark Independence Day in Davao

Filipinos in Davao City will mark Independence Day next week in a unique way: with a Philippine-themed LEGO exhibit.

 

The Davao City government said the Philippine-themed brick-based exhibit will be launched by SM Lanang Premier, the first and biggest in Mindanao.

 

"In partnership with LEGO, the world’s leading maker of toy bricks, and Toy Kingdom, SM Lanang Premier brought the LEGO Philippine map exhibit to promote love of country and national pride among Filipinos," the city government said on its Facebook page.

 

The city government also posted several photos of the exhibit, which included a LEGO recreation of the Philippine map that highlighted landmarks, icons and tourist attractions.

 

With the slogan “It’s More Fun in the Philippines with LEGO”, the exhibit also adopted the Department of Tourism’s slogan.

 

The exhibit will be housed at The Atrium of SM Lanang Premier until June 30. — TJD, GMA News
