Google pays tribute to dads with interactive doodle

Google on Sunday paid tribute to fathers around the world with an interactive doodle to mark Father's Day.

Visitors to Google's home page (www.google.com) were greeted with a doodle with the "L" showing a series of images of fathers.

An article on The News Tribe said the "o" in Google is a button that causes the images of fathers to roll in the letter "L."

"These images all tell a father's day story, and show examples of how kids can spoil their fathers this Father's Day" it said.

But as in the past, clicking on the spyglass icon will bring the visitor to a Search Results page for Father's Day, a special day to celebrate fatherhood.

Many countries including the Philippines mark the occasion on the third Sunday of June. — LBG, GMA News
