'LittleBigPlanet 3' chilling out with 'Frozen' DLC

Because apparently Disney’s “Frozen” hasn’t permeated every aspect of life yet, “LittleBigPlanet 3” is getting “Frozen”-themed downloadable content.

With the “Frozen Costume Pack,” you can dress up Sackboy and his friends to look like characters from the film.

The character costumes include Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Sven. Each costume is available for $1.99. If you buy the bundle for $5.99, however, you get an extra Olaf costume. There is no other way to get Olaf except through this special bundle.

In addition to the costumes, Sony is also offering a Winter Creator kit for free. This will let you to populate your custom-made levels with all sorts of wintry ornaments, such as snowmen and snowflakes.

“LittleBigPlanet 3” is a Sony PlayStation exclusive. A side-scrolling platformer that incorporates plenty of action and puzzle elements, it has you maneuvering Sackboy and his friends through various worlds, each one sporting a beautiful, hand-crafted aesthetic.

The game’s biggest draw, however, is its built-in level creator, which has allowed thousands upon thousands of gamers to create and share their own levels online.

The game also lets players customize the look of their Sackboys, thanks to the numerous costume pack releases. In fact, the “Frozen” DLC is not the first time Sony has partnered up with Disney to bring fans specific content from a licensed property. Back in 2009, the “Pirates of the Caribbean Premium Level Kit” was rolled out for “LittleBigPlanet”, which offered players Jack Sparrow and Davy Jones costumes, among a wealth of other goodies. There have also been costumes based on the various Disney princesses, “Toy Story,” and “The Avengers.” — TJD, GMA News
