Retro Nokia 3310 makes PHL debut

Finnish mobile phone maker HMD Global, which currently owns the rights to the Nokia brand, has just launched the much-awaited retro-styled Nokia 3310 in the Philippines.

On June 8 at Aracama Restaurant at the Fort Strip in BGC, HMD officially launched four new Nokia phones in the country.

The launch was attended by James Rutherford, HMD Vice President Asia Pacific; Shannon Mead, HMD Country Manager for the Philippines and Singapore; and China Tanchanco, HMD Head of Marketing, Philippines.

Aside from the newly-revamped Nokia 3310, HMD also unveiled the Nokia 6, 5 and 3. True to its original budget-friendly image, the 3310 has an SRP of just PhP2,490. HMD's other smartphone offerings are priced at PhP11,990, PhP9,990, and PhP6,990, respectively. — TJD, GMA News
