TD Ambo makes landfall, weakens into LPA

Tropical Depression Ambo made landfall over Dinalungan, Aurora early Monday morning and weakened into a low pressure area (LPA), PAGASA's 2 a.m. weather alert reported.

At 1 a.m., the LPA that was formerly TD Ambo was near Quirino Province.

Though all Tropical Cyclone Warning Signals have been lifted, the LPA will bring occasional moderate to heavy rain over northern and Central Luzon, Rizal, and Quezon, with flashfloods and landslides a danger in these areas.

Light to moderate rain can also be expected over Cavite, Laguna, and Batangas.
