Scattered rain expected over north, Central Luzon – PAGASA

The Cordillera Administrative and Cagayan Valley Regions, as well as Aurora, would be cloudy  with scattered rain due to the northeast monsoon, weather service PAGASA predicted in Wednesday morning forecast.

The Ilocos and Central Luzon Regions would also be under the influence of the northeast monsoon, and could thus expect partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rain.

The rest of the country would meanwhile be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers.

Winds would be strong to gale from the northeast over northern Luzon, where coastal waters would be rough to very rough.

Over the rest of Luzon and the eastern section of the Visayas, winds would be moderate to strong from the northeast to east, with moderate to rough seas.

Winds over the eastern section of Mindanao would be moderate to occasionally strong from the northeast to north with moderate to occasionally rough coastal waters.

Finally, winds over the rest of the country would be light to moderate from the northeast to east with slight to moderate coastal waters. — DVM, GMA News
