Light to heavy rain expected over Visayas, Mindanao areas – PAGASA

The Eastern and Central Visayas, Northern Mindanao, and the Caraga Region would experience cloudy conditions with scattered rain and thunderstorms due to the tail-end of a cold front, weather service PAGASA reported in a Sunday morning forecast.

The northeast monsoon would meanwhile bring cloudy conditions with scattered rain over the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley Region, Bicol Region, Aurora, and Quezon; as well as partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated light rain over the rest of Luzon.

The rest of the  country could meanwhile expect partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers.

Winds would be strong to gale force from the northeast over the northern section of northern Luzon, and the eastern sections of southern Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao. Coastal water along these areas would be from rough to very rough.

Over the rest of the country would be from moderate to strong from the northeast with moderate to rough coastal waters. — DVM, GMA News
