4 Luzon provinces under Orange rainfall warning level —PAGASA


State weather bureau PAGASA hoisted Orange rainfall warning level over four provinces in Luzon at noon Sunday, amid threats of heavy rains from enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

In a rainfall warning issued at 12:15 p.m., it also said that Tropical Storm Karding (Yagi), though already outside the Philippine area of responsibility, in still enhancing Habagat.

It said, Orange warning level is up over the provinces of Batangas (particularly Nasugbu, Lian, Calatagan, Tuy, Calaca, Lemery, Lauel, Tagaytay); Cavite; Bataan; and southern Zambales.

PAGASA said, under orange warning, flooding is threatening.

Meanwhile, Yellow warning level is up in Metro Manila, Bulacan, and Rizal, where flooding  is possible in low-lying areas.

Light to moderate with occasional heavy rain is affecting Pampanga, Tarlac, southern Nueva Ecija, northern Zambales, Laguna, northern Quezon, and Batangas. The condition will persist within 3 hours. —LBG, GMA News
