Isolated rain expected over north Luzon islands – PAGASA

The Batanes and Babuyan Islands would experience partly cloudy to cloudy conditions accompanied with isolated light rain due to the northeasterly surface windflow, weather service PAGASA predicted in a Saturday morning forecast.

Cloudy conditions with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms could meanwhile be expected over the Eastern and Central Visayas and the Caraga Region, this time due to the eastlerlies.

The rest of the country would be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers.

Winds would be moderate to strong from northeast over northern Luzon, where coastal waters would be moderate to rough.

Over the eastern sections of Central and southern Luzon and the Visayas, winds would be moderate to strong from the east with moderate to rough surrounding sea conditions.

Finally, winds over the rest of the country would be light to moderate from the northeast to east with slight to moderate coastal waters. — DVM, GMA News
