Scattered rain expected over southern Luzon, the Eastern Visayas

The Bicol Region, Quezon, Mindoro Oriental, Marinduque, Romblon, and the Samar provinces could expect cloudy conditions accompanied with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the tail-end of a cold front, PAGASA predicted in a Sunday morning forecast.

The northeast monsoon would meanwhile bring cloudy condition with light rain over the Cagayan Valley Region, the Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora province; as well as partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated light rain over the rest of Luzon.

The rest of the country would be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshower.

Winds would strong from the northeast over northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Luzon and the  Visayas, with coastal waters along all these areas expected to be rough.

Over the rest of the country, winds would be moderate to strong from the northeast with moderate to rough surrounding sea conditions. — DVM, GMA News
