Easterlies affecting Bicol, Visayas, Mindanao —PAGASA

State weather bureau PAGASA on Monday said easterlies are affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, PAGASA said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over the Bicol region, Visayas and Mindanao.

PAGASA warned against possible flashfloods during severe thunderstorms in these areas.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will also encounter partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

Flashfloods during severe thunderstorms are also possible, PAGASA said.

The weather agency also said the whole country will experience light to moderate wind speed. Its direction will be from east to southeast. —Anna Felicia Bajo/KG, GMA News
