Cloudy, isolated rains expected in Metro Manila


The ridge of a High Pressure Area (HPA) will be affecting the eastern section of Luzon on Tuesday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers brought about by localized thunderstorms.

The weather bureau warned that flash floods and landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

The forecast wind speed for the eastern section of Luzon and the Visayas is light to moderate moving southeast to south while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

For the rest of Luzon, the wind speed would be light to moderate moving southwest to south while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

In Mindanao, wind speed would be light to moderate moving eastward while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
