Cloudy with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms seen in most of PHL

It will be cloudy with some isolated rain showers and thunderstorms on Sunday in most parts of the country, weather bureau PAGASA said in its 4 a.m. public weather forecast.

The southwesterly winds will bring rains to the western part of Mimaropa and Visayas, but it will be partly cloudy in a big part of the country's landmass, DOST-PAGASA weather specialist Loriedin  De La Cruz said.

PAGASA has not monitored any storm, low pressure area, or weather disturbance inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility and none are expected to be formed within the next two to three days.

Metro Manila will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated thunderstorms possible in the afternoon and evening.
