Orange rainfall warning up over 5 Mindanao areas

The areas of  Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga Sibugay, Zamboanga City,  Basilan and Sulu will have heavy rains on Friday morning as PAGASA raised the orange rainfall warning at 8:25 a.m.

Areas with orange rainfall warning will have intense rain measuring 15-30 mm.

Meanwhile, yellow rainfall warning has been issued for Zamboanga del Sur and Tawi-Tawi.

With the yellow rainfall warning, 7.5 to 15 mm of heavy rains are expected to pour in one hour and may continue for the next two hours.

In the advisory, PAGASA also said moderate to occasional heavy rains is expected over Camiguin, Misamis Occidental, Lanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur, Maguindanao,  North Cotabato, South Cotabato,  and Sarangani which may persist for 2 to 3 hours. —KBK, GMA News
