Easterlies to bring rains over many parts of the Philippines


The easterlies or the winds coming from the east will bring rains over many parts of the country on Sunday, PAGASA said in its early morning forecast.

Cagayan Valley, the Bicol Region, Caraga, Aurora, Quezon, and Samar Provinces will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides may occur during heavy rainfall.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country meanwhile will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

These areas may also have flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

 

Coastal waters will be moderate to rough over the seaboards of northern and eastern sections of the country.

Elsewhere, coastal waters in the country will be slight to moderate.

Sunrise will be at 6:25 a.m. while sunset will be at 5:52 p.m. —KG, GMA News
