With wind blowing from the east, Metro Manila will be cloudy with isolated rains on Palm Sunday


Wind blowing from east or the easterlies will be affecting the eastern section of the country on Palm Sunday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Batanes and Babuyan Islands will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains brought about by the northeasterly surface windflow, which not have a significant impact in the areas.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country on the other hand, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to the easterlies / localized thunderstorms that will not have a significant impact to the affected areas.

The forecast wind speed in extreme northern Luzon is moderate to strong and moving  northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

For the rest of the country, the forecast wind speed is light to moderate moving northeastward while coastal waters will be slight to moderate. -- BAP, GMA News
