CAR, Cagayan Valley, Ilocos to have isolated rains, thunderstorms

The Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Cagayan Valley Region, Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur will have cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms on Tuesday, PAGASA said in its forecast.

This is due to a frontal system—where two air masses meet—affecting Extreme Northern Luzon, and the southwesterly windflow affecting the rest of Northern Luzon.

Flash floods or landslides may occur during during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms, with the possibility of flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Coastal waters will be light to moderate in Northern Luzon, and slight to moderate in the rest of the country.
