Thunderstorm warning raised over Tarlac, Pampanga

Moderate to heavy rainshowers with possible lightning and strong winds are expected over Tarlac and Pampanga within the next two hours, PAGASA warned Friday night.

In its advisory, the weather agency said that moderate rainshowers with possible lightning and strong winds are currently being experienced in Batan and Zambales which may persist for one to two hours and affect nearby areas.

Specific areas affected are Morong, Olongapo, Subic, Castillejos, SanAntonio, SanMarcelino, SanNarciso, Cabangan, and Botolan.

PAGASA advised affected residents to take precautions against flash floods or landslides.

A severe weather bulletin will be issued at 11 p.m. on Friday. — DVM, GMA News
