Fair weather forecast for most of Philippines

Partly cloudy skies in many parts of the country, including Metro Manila on Wednesday, PAGASA Weather Specialist Aldczar Aurelio reported.

There will be isolated rainshowers brought about by thunderstorms in northern Mindanao and Zamboanga Peninsula.

The southwest monsoon slightly weakened and is now affecting part of western section of northern Luzon.

There are also no low pressure areas within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

From Wednesday, July 1, up to Friday, July 3, the weather bureau does not expect that a low pressure area or storm will develop within PAR.

The southwest monsoon, meanwhile, is expected to further weaken in the next three days. -- BAP, GMA News
