Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, Bicol Region, MIMAROPA will be cloudy with scattered rains due to LPA, ITCZ


The Low Pressure Area (LPA) early Tuesday morning was estimated at 80 kilometers East Southeast of Guiuan, Eastern Samar embedded in the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, PAGASA reported.

Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, Bicol Region, and MIMAROPA will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought by the LPA / ITCZ. There is a possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to the ITCZ and/or localized thunderstorms. There is also the possibility that flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for Luzon and Visayas is light to moderate and moving in the northeast to east direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

In Mindanao, wind speed will be light moving in the southeast to variable direction while coastal waters will remain slight.
