ITCZ to bring rain showers over Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will bring rains to many parts of the country on Monday, PAGASA said in its early morning forecast.

The ITCZ, the area where winds from the northern and southern hemisphere meet, is continuing to affect Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao.

It will cause cloudy skies, scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Visayas and Mindanao.

The ITCZ and localized thunderstorms are also expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, with isolated rain showers mostly in the afternoon or evening.
