Easterlies to bring isolated rain showers over Metro Manila, rest of PHL

The Easterlies, warm winds from the Pacific Ocean, and localized thunderstorms are expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country, PAGASA announced Saturday.

In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency warned affected residents of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

PAGASA said the Easterlies are affecting the eastern section of Luzon and Visayas.

Due to moderate to rough sea conditions, gale warnings have been raised over the western seaboards of Southern Luzon, including the Kalayaan Islands.

Meanwhile, the PAGASA synoptic station at the Science Garden, Quezon City recorded a minimum temperature of 23.5°C at 6 a.m. and a maximum temperature of 32°C at 1:50 p.m. —LBG, GMA News
