NDRRMC says Rolly seen to reach typhoon level, not supertyphoon

By ANNA FELICIA BAJO,GMA News

The National Disaster Risk Reduction on Management Council (NDRRMC) on Friday said Rolly is expected to reach typhoon level and that it will not intensify into a supertyphoon.

Jalad warned that Rolly could still bring strong winds and heavy to intense rainfall.

Citing the latest information from state weather bureau PAGASA, Jalad said Rolly is expected to make landfall in Catanduanes or in Polillo Island. He also mentioned some of the provinces which will be directly affected by the typhoon.

"Tatahakin niya ang probinsiya ng Aurora and then I think Nueva Ecija and dito sa Tarlac and Pangasinan at Zambales," Jalad said.
