Red rainfall warning up over Tarlac, Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan due to Ulysses

PAGASA raised the red rainfall warning over Tarlac, Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga and Bulacan at 5 a.m. on Thursday due to Typhoon Ulysses.

The state weather bureau warned residents of serious flooding in flood-prone areas.

It hoisted the orange rainfall warning meanwhile over Metro Manila, Quezon, Laguna, Cavite, Rizal and parts of Nueva Ecija (Gapan, Cabiao, SanIsidro, SanAntonio, Jaen, SanLeonardo, SantaRosa, Penaranda, GeneralTinio, Gabaldon, Laur, Palayan, Cabanatuan, Aliaga, Zaragoza).

The above-mentioned areas were warned that flooding is threatening.

Meanwhile, the yellow rainfall warning was raised over Batangas and parts of Nueva Ecija (San Jose, Santo Domingo, Licab, Quezon, Talavera, Talugtug, Pantabangan, General Mamerto Natividad, Carranglan, Llanera, Rizal, Cuyapo, Guimba, Lupao, Munoz, Nampicuan, Bongabon).

Flooding may occur in flood-prone areas in places under yellow rainfall warning.

Tropical Cylone Wind Signal No. 3 was raised over 1 areas at 5 a.m. as Ulysses moved inland in Luzon. --KG, GMA News
