Scattered rains over Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Davao due to the trough of the LPA


The Tail - End of the Frontal System will be affecting the eastern section of Northern and Central Luzon as the trough of the Low Pressure Area (LPA) will be affecting eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao, according to the early morning forecast posted by PAGASA.

Batanes, Babuyan Islands and Ilocos Norte will have cloudy skies with rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.

Cordillera Administrative Region, the rest of Cagayan Valley, Aurora,  Quezon and Bicol Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the Tail-end of Frontal System/ Trough of LPA, which is outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate with at times heavy rains.

Eastern Visayas, Caraga and Davao Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the Trough of the LPA with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate with at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Northern and Central Luzon will have strong wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be rough.

The rest of Luzon will have moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

In the Visayas and Mindanao, wind speed will be light to moderate moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
