Cloudy skies, scattered rains over Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Mindanao due to the Tail-end of Frontal System, LPA


At 3 a.m. on Tuesday, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 170 kilometers southeast of General Santos City as the Tail-end of Frontal System (Shear line) will be affecting Visayas and northeast monsoon will be affecting Luzon, PAGASA reported.

Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the Tail-end of Frontal System and the LPA  with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.

CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, and Western Visayas will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon with no significant impact.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon with no significant impact.

Luzon and Visayas will have moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Mindanao will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the southeast to northeast direction while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.
