Yellow rainfall warning up over Palawan, Eastern Samar, Samar

PAGASA raised the yellow rainfall warning on Monday at 5 a.m. over Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, Eastern Samar and Samar.

These areas will have heavy rains amounting to between 7.5mm to 15 mm within one hour and likely to continue due to the low pressure area and the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone. 

Residents were warned against possible flooding and landslides in areas prone to these hazards.

PAGASA advised the public and disaster risk reduction and management councils concerned to take the appropriate actions, monitor the weather condition, and await the next advisory at 8 a.m. —KG, GMA News
