Ilocos, CAR, Cagayan Valley to have scattered rains due to tail-end of frontal system


The tail-end of a frontal system (Shear line) affecting Northern Luzon's eastern section will bring cloudy skies, scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region and Cagayan Valley on Sunday, PAGASA said in its early morning forecast.

Flash floods or landslides may occur during times of moderate to heavy rains.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms, with the possibility of flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Coastal waters will be moderate in the seaboards of Northern Luzon, and slight to moderate in the rest of the country.
