By JOAHNA LEI CASILAO,GMA News

Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and isolated thunderstorms are expected to affect the Bicol Region, Quezon, Rizal, Marinduque, Romblon, and Oriental Mindoro due to the tail-end of a frontal system, PAGASA said Friday.

In its 24-hour forecast, the state weather bureau warned residents against possible flash floods or landslides during moderate with, at times, heavy rains.

The weather agency said that the northeast monsoon may also bring cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, and Aurora.

It may also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

Despite this, the monsoon has no significant impact on the affected areas, according to PAGASA.

Localized thunderstorms may, meanwhile, bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over the rest of the country.

PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The synoptic station at the Science Garden, Diliman, Quezon City also recorded a minimum temperature of 22.4°Ç at 5 a.m. and a maximum temperature of 30.8°C at 1:50 p.m.—AOL, GMA News
