Cloudy skies, rains over most of north Luzon due to tail end of frontal system, amihan


The Tail-end of a Frontal System (Shear Line) will be affecting the eastern section of northern Luzon while the northeast monsoon will be affecting the rest of northern Luzon, PAGASA reported.

Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino and Aurora will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the Tail - end of a Frontal System (Shear Line) with possible flash floods or landslides during moderate with at times heavy rains.

Batanes and Babuyan Islands will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon but with no significant impact.

Cordillera Administrative Region and Ilocos Region will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to the easterlies/localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for extreme northern Luzon is moderate to strong moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

The rest of Luzon will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the southeast to northeast direction while coastal waters remain slight to moderate.

Visayas and Mindanao will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.
