Northeasterly surface windflow to bring light rains over northern Luzon

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains may prevail over the Cagayan Valley, the Ilocos Region, and the Cordillera Administrative Region due to the northeasterly surface windflow, PAGASA said Thursday.

In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency assured affected residents that the windflow has no significant impact on the said areas.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA said flash floods and landslides are possible during severe thunderstorms.

The synoptic station at the Science Garden, Diliman, Quezon City also recorded a minimum temperature of 25.7°C at 5 a.m. and a maximum temperature of 31.°C at 1:50 p.m. — Joahna Lei Casilao/BM, GMA News
