Easterlies to bring rainshowers, thunderstorms over 3 areas

Caraga, Northern Mindanao, and Davao Region are expected to experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought by warm winds from the Pacific Ocean called the easterlies, according to PAGASA on Tuesday.

, the state weather agency warned affected residents against possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to heavy rains.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers will also prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to easterlies and localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA said flash floods and landslides are also possible during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the synoptic station at the Science Garden, Diliman, Quezon City recorded a minimum temperature of 24.4°C at 5 a.m. and a maximum temperature of 30.2°C at 3 p.m.—AOL, GMA News
