Cloudy skies, scattered rains over eastern Visayas, Caraga, Davao due to the easterlies


The easterlies will be affecting the entire country on Tuesday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the easterlies.

Flash floods or landslides in these areas may occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to the easterlies / localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Wind speed forecast in extreme northern Luzon is light to moderate moving in the east to southeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speed moving eastward while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.
