Easterlies to bring scattered rains over Visayas, Caraga, Davao Region

Warm wind from the Pacific Ocean called the easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over the Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and the Davao Region, PAGASA said Tuesday.

In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency warned affected residents against possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to, at times, heavy rains.

PAGASA said easterlies and localized thunderstorms are also expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Flash floods and landslides are also possible.

Meanwhile, the PAGASA synoptic station at the Science Garden, Diliman, Quezon City recorded a minimum temperature of 24.6°C at 5 a.m. and a maximum temperature of 34.4°C at 1:50 p.m.—Joahna Lei Casilao/LDF, GMA News
